Baked Mont d'Or with beer and maple syrup recipe

Some history
Mont d'Or is a cheese from the Jura Mountains nestled in a spruce box. It is only available for sale from September to May. This makes it even more sought-after!
Ingredients for 6 people
- 1 Mont d’Or
- 3 cl lager
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
- 1 bunch of sage
- salt, pepper
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Make a hole in the centre of the Mont d’Or and pour the beer and maple syrup into it.
Season with a turn of the pepper mill and a few leaves of sage.
Bake the Mont d’Or for 20min.
Serve immediately with slices of country bread and/or potatoes.
